Android phone with best camera 20157/20/2023 ![]() The 6S is better than the 6, sure - but not by a massive gap. Despite all my objectivity I'd still rock a 6P. TBH I don't care if you agree with me or not. Go to Full resolution and you see the flaws clearly and you can see the heavy image processing the flagships do. Hell a iPhone 4s or a Nexus 5 can take pictures that look ok on a phone screen. If you look at photos on the phone sure they all look close. If you can frame all your shots and use your tripod sure it's hard to tell the difference but shooting from the hip the flagships beat the Nexus.įor the record it's exactly what I've done is blow them up. The other major point I said was consistency, the S6 and the rest of the flagships I mentioned have more hits than misses, especially in low light. People will still say the Nexus is better (then for some reason use evidence that of the contrary to prove it?) Ladies and Gentlemen I give you the Nexus effect.Įven when benchmarks show that something objectively beats the Nexus (Even tho I don't care what DXOmark posts or if it's really objective) The trade off is shutter/processing speed. There is a HUGE difference between normal mode and HDR+ in image quality. Texture and noise clean up = heavy post processingĭXOMark doesn't point out which modes the camera is being testing in HDR+ or HDR+ Auto or Normal. The screens from DXOmark points out the exact same flaws I found. The rest are a lot better without a tripod.Ģ. If you take videos, the 6P is mediocre because of no OIS. Go to a really dark room - and you'll see the differences. I have a hard time believing you have actually done these tests if you're saying otherwise. ![]() I'm sure you can zoom in 2000x and see a difference, but if we're being realistic. ![]() Like I said - in daylight, they look pretty much identical to me. I've used the Note 5 and 6P, as well as the iPhone 6S+ and Nexus 6P side by side. Literally every review disagrees with you.Ībout the Nexus 6P: "Impressive detail preservation in low light conditions, by far the best tested to date."
